Project Description: This project involves working closely with the Solano Land Trust, the property owner, to prepare a complete update to the 1990 Master Plan for Rush Ranch, a 2,070-acre wetland and upland preserve in northern Suisun Marsh. The Master Plan update involves redefining the goals and objectives for the property, developing a comprehensive conceptual model of existing conditions and how future changes (e.g., climate change, land use, large-scale tidal restoration) are likely to affect the property, developing a suite of restoration and enhancement projects to a concept design level, and developing a CEQA and regulatory compliance strategy. WWR is the lead on this project, with Vollmar Consulting and Peter Baye contributing biological resources and restoration expertise and Grassetti Environmental providing CEQA expertise. |
